Johnsonville Library Storage Facility 

With the temporary closure of the main Wellington library, Wellington City Council needed somewhere to store books for their new smaller satellite libraries. With a blank canvas the building was converted into offices to house libraries with the majority used as racking. Lighting was important to help with the quick picking and dispatching of books as required. We designed lighting systems to work down the aisles of the new racking. Ground floor required additional cable tray to be added and then seismically restrained to withstand any potential wellington shakes.
