Accounting made easy, HNRY a new way of doing accounting for self employed, and a fantastic new office for a growing business

We were engaged to turn the existing tired space into a modern office. With a building that is full of history the existing plaster moulded ceilings wanted to be retained to keep the architectural look of the building. Linear LED lighting was suspended below to light the work space and the ceiling above, large hanging planters with feature LED ribbon suspended over the breakout area and a welcoming lobby to greet guests. Power and structured data cabling was provided via umbilical droppers and floor trunking.

From concept to completion!

We completed the demolition to remove the old David Jones fitout back to an empty shell, the building has been seismically strengthened and converted into a mix use building. Including a retail space and art gallery. Focal point of the project is a lighting display on the exterior building facade. The colour changing lighting on this landmark Wellington building exterior facade uses high quality fittings from a local New Zealand supplier.

Amazing fit out designed by Designgroup Stapleton Elliott architects, this modern working space combines dark tones that are complemented by the accent feature lighting.

Multiple meeting rooms and staff breakout areas fit the business model perfect for this recruitment agency, the lighting was designed to be eye catching in the customer focused areas and then within the working spaces low glare pan fittings to make easy work environments. All electrical items were upgraded with new lighting, switchboard and data.

Residential Electrician

Design build contract for implementation of this multi unit dwelling. Lighting, power, aerials and chorus network. Salto access control system utilising wireless and wired doors.

When you need to fit planes, trains and cars into a new office space

Large commercial office to accommodate Waka Kotahi Wellington HQ. Solutions Electrical worked with Waka Kotahi to provide lighting that made a welcoming and open work space. An existing space was converted from two tenancies into a large open-plan workspace to accommodate the Wellington staff. We gave careful consideration to the high ceilings so that we could create uniformity with the lighting. We installed umbilical droppers to bring power to desks. Multiple meeting rooms and large commercial kitchen can welcome guests and create an open space working environment.

Art gallery moveable lighting

Light fittings were picked to give good colour rendering and adjustable heads to zoom in/out on the art work giving flexibility to present different sizes of work.

Out with the old in with the new

Replacement of a 600amp main switchboard with the capabilities of future proofing the landlord for upgrades to the building. With an integrated metering system via a cloud based monitoring system the whole site can be remotely metered and on charged to tenants. With pyro sub mains coming to the end of their viable life span all mains cabling to every floor was replaced, centralised cable management installed within existing risers. Shutting down a working office building for a weekend and having everyone up and running for Monday morning is no small task!

New government agency set up to welcome new staff and guests

NZ Infrastructure Commission altered an existing floor to an open-plan office, meeting rooms, conference rooms and a large communal area for greeting guests. They contracted Solutions Electrical to design and provide power, lighting and structured data cabling. Feature lighting was key to all communal areas creating a welcoming space for guests.

Mega makeover

Tired office space converted to a serviced office for short term tenants. Solutions Electrical were engaged at design stage to package the requirements of a future unknown tenant.

Power and data are reticulated via floor trunking to give flexibility. Lighting has been designed around workstations to be ultra low glare, meeting room has dimmable lighting for video conferencing and kitchen was all about the look as you walked into the space while creating a space to collaborate. Switchboard upgraded to beyond current standards with RCD protection to lighting and power circuits.

When books need somewhere cool to live

Designed lighting systems to work down the aisles of the new racking. Ground floor required additional cable tray to be added and then seismically restrained to withstand any potential wellington shakes.
